Travel Tips for Costa Rica

Saturdays, April 25 and May 2 are travel days. Pura Vida will pick you up from the San Jose Airport (SJO) and drop you off regardless of the time of day (or night) that you travel.
There are non-stop flights from many major cities to San Jose, CR (SJO).
At this time, there are no visas required for US citizens to travel to Costa Rica but a valid passport with at least 90 days before expiry is required. A round trip ticket is also required to gain entry.
No vaccines are required for US citizens at this time.
Travel insurance is encouraged. The health care system is Costa Rica is excellent but costs are unlikely to be covered by your U.S. medical insurance.
